We do love our home there. Curious as to which house has caught your eye? (It’s a small town, so we’ve probably seen it from the outside!) 🙂

Good luck with your house hunt…Pawhuska can be a fun place to be, for sure, and it is full of rich history.

I’ve been looking to move back to Oklahoma for quite a while and stumbled across a house that just really speaks to me…in Pawhuska. I’m pretty sure the hubby thinks I’m missing a screw or two, but I really love the look of this house! Your blog caught my eye when I was browsing through pics of Pawhuska online. I hope you two are still loving your new home.

Seriously?? What a small world. We’d love to visit with you more about our beautiful home or have you come for a visit someday.

Elementary school, Jr. High & High School graduate in 1961. My father had many business’s here, one being the Triangle Bldg when it had lots Lawyers, Accountants, Main floor was Carpet Sales, Jewelry Store, Finance Co. & Federal Housing Administration office. Things were going well back in the 70’s & things started dying down in the early 80’s. I owned & operated the Evergreen Station & Store south of Pawhuska on Hwy 99. Dad owned the Pawhuska Ready-Mix Plant & I managed it for him, He had many other business’s in Pawhuska & employed a number of residents. That is why I am so thrilled that Ree & Ladd’s (Mercantile) Business’s have taken off & brought life back to Pawhuska! If I remember correctly your home was owned by the Vance Family. Mr. Vance was an attorney here & their only child Linda married E.C. Mullendore of the Mullendore Ranch, north of Pawhuska.
