Not sure as we never had a T&C. My parents have one, but I have never really tried to load it with more than a couple suitcases.

We just have the gas powered one, so don’t know about the batteries in the hybrid version of the Pacifica. That said, our little auxiliary battery (that it uses to re-start the car after it turns off at stoplights) did have to be replaced at about 100,000 miles. It cost $65 for the battery plus labor.

We drive in a small town at home, but have used our Pacifica on many 1,500+ mile road trips.

We have been fine in bad weather, though we did have trouble getting up an icy hill once. That said, newer models of the Pacifica have all-wheel drive, and we plan on getting one of those when we purchase our next one.

How does the Pacific do in inclement weather? I live on a hill and my Escape has trouble getting up the hill when there is snow, but overall my Escape doesn’t do great in bad weather.

I’m curious as to what your daily drive looks like. Are you mostly driving in the city with stop and go traffic? Majority of my commute is highway and the battery recharges when the brakes are used. I’ve also read that the battery is only good for 3-5 years. Have you started having any issues with your battery?
