A scarf or wrap from Pang Wangle – New Orleans, La.

This company actually found us and sent Ann a complimentary essential wrap. Not only is the wrap soft and fashionable, it is made with an Insect Shield® repellent technology that keeps the bugs away. And yes, we tested it outside on our deck and it really does protect against insects.

The Chef & The Dish – Anywhere you want

When this company reached out to us a couple years back and offered us an authentic Italian cooking class in our own home, we jumped at the chance. We loved our experience and have since taken even more classes. The format is simple, the chef comes to your kitchen via Skype and gives you a private lesson. From Italy (pictured) to Thailand to New Orleans, this company has searched the globe to find great chefs your mom will love!

Best Mother’s Day Gifts from Community Coffee – Baton Rouge, La.

We had our first cup of Community Coffee at a visitor’s center on our road trip through the south last fall and immediately loved it’s smooth, robust flavor. Named for the founder’s community of friends and customers, this company is still family owned four generations later. In fact, it’s the #1 family-owned retail coffee brand in America. Take mom breakfast in bed with a cup of this delicious coffee.

Our go-to Greek Seasoning – Mason City, Iowa

Who knew that we’d find our new go-to seasoning for chicken, beef, fish, and grilled veggies at the Clear Lake, Iowa, Farmer’s Market. Your mom will love Kusina Gold gourmet Greek seasoning made by a female-owned small business in the heartland. We use this seasoning regularly on meat, vegetables, and on toasted bread or English muffins (with parmesan).
